Stefan Van Berlo
A young, ambitious floral artist (with several national and international awards) who likes to take on a challenge, turns 35 this year. It seemed the perfect moment to have a look back at his achievements.
That’s why he went looking for a project that fits his personality and that will let him show his love of floral art.
No birthday goes by unnoticed or uncelebrated. Each year we get a gift of an extra year of life and flowers can brighten these celebrations.
We came into this world naked in our most pure and natural form. This purity can also be found in flowers: as fragile and brittle as they are powerful and passionate. We combined these two wonders of nature in thios project.
Trust is a very important part of a project like this, so is a good connection between floral artist and photographer. Years of collaborations made it the most logical decision to start this project with Johan Vos.
A man with a passion for photography, especially the photography of male models. What once started out as a hobby, grew into a full time job next to his job as an engineer. This is only possible if you passionately live for your profession.
Photographing the male body is one of his specialities. That’s one of the reasons why a lot of starting male models love to be in front of his camera. As a photographer he also regularly gets invited to Fashion Weeks and international modelling contests in Europe, Dominican Republic, India, …
Throughout the years he also came in touch with the world of floral arrangements. Creating that perfect picture of a floral arrangement is not simple task, but also this challenge was accepted with the same passion. As a result he was able to work for some of the better floral artist over the last years
In this project he was given a double challenge: both the model and the floral creation had to be incorporated into every picture in an original way.
It’s safe to say this challenge was accepted and brought to a successful conclusion as a result of the great collaboration between the photographer, floral artist and models.
